Join us for this delightful event next Tuesday! For the Love of Words will feature local authors and writers who present their work and experience, and offer an opportunity to meet other local writers. On Tuesday, November 16, @arthousedallas is partnering with @covenantdallasfinearts and Central Commons to feature quality literary projects from local authors within the Art House Dallas writing community and students from The Covenant School's fine arts program. The evening will begin with live readings from our featured authors, followed by an artist reception with hor d'oeuvres, wine, and coffee.
Central Commons is hosting the Fine Arts Chamber Players on November 13, and we would love for you to join us. The husband-and-wife duo of Artina and Martin McCain take the FACP stage with works for piano and bass trombone, celebrating the breadth of American musical imagination and innovation. Space is limited and registration is required - follow the link in our bio for more information!
The aim of this Art House Dallas series focused on patience is to explore the impact of this virtue exemplified in the habits of the believer, including the artist. What does patience say to us who are interested in effecting the common good both with what we create and our faith? Through this series, the hope is to unearth something different from the frantic, anxious pace of the modern world and explore how patience influences, encourages, and informs the artist’s work. Art House Dallas is excited to begin this series with a lecture from Dr. Kelly Kapic who is featured in the On Patience reader. Click on the image to register.
